With fragmented regulations and unequal access to AI expertise, there is no unified platform for legislators, academia, industry, and experts to collaborate. GAP-AI provides this forum to foster dialogue, share best practices, and promote responsible, human-centric, and globally harmonised AI development and governance.

There are exclusive platforms for Parliamentarians, tech giants, academia and startups to discuss the issues related to AI independently. However, there is a need for the stakeholders to come together to one multi-stakeholder platform.
